Coming from a lifelong love of fantastical stories and music, Jordan Winter (née Ingram) shares intimate internal narratives in her work, often through use of whimsical surrealism, abstraction, and sound. In 2017, she graduated from George Mason University with a BFA in Art and Visual Technology concentrating in painting.
Her work addresses emotional commonalities, aiming to give viewers the freedom to relate the work to their own experiences, and the ability to consider and relate to that which may be outside of their experience.
Jordan’s favorite way to spend her spare time is cuddling with her husband James and her two beloved cats, Boy Cat and Lucy, while watching comfort TV.
